System Innovation Romania, a SAP partner and ERP solutions integrator, closed 2024 with significant financial growth and a clear strengthening of its market position. The company reported a turnover of €3.3 million, marking a 29.8% increase compared to the previous year, while its profit margin rose by 17.7%, surpassing the 13.2% threshold recorded in 2023.
Although the number of new clients remained similar to previous years, the scale of projects grew significantly, with ERP implementations averaging around 100 users per client. This shift was enabled by the versatility of the SAP Business One platform and the maturity of the company’s team. As a result, System Innovation was able to take on more complex projects, involving extensive customizations, proprietary module development, and integrations with third-party systems. This context led to a 48% increase in license sales compared to 2023, earning the company the ”Highest Revenue Award” for top SAP License sales in the Central Cluster CEE region.
Another major growth driver was the regulatory environment. The introduction of mandatory e-Invoicing (e-Factura) and SAF-T reporting generated a surge in demand from companies using outdated ERP systems or working with providers who were slow to adapt to these changes. This wave of projects resulted not only in new business, but also in the creation of a new service line focused on compliance upgrades for the existing client base.
From an industry perspective, most new clients came from the manufacturing sector — ranging from agri-food and construction materials to equipment for the oil and gas industry. The company also added clients from the technical equipment distribution segment and service industries, including IT, data centers, tourism, and construction project management.
In terms of revenue structure, 82% came from services (implementation, maintenance, and custom development), while 18% came from license sales. Of the license sales, 60% were SAP licenses, 30% were proprietary licenses developed in-house, and the remainder were partner licenses. Compared to previous years, the ratio between services and licenses shifted, showing a clear increase in the share of standardized proprietary products.
“2024 was the year when our accumulated expertise, strong portfolio, and adaptability delivered concrete results. We were involved in larger-scale projects — typically over 100 users — involving complex integrations with other business systems. We’ve seen growing market demand, with more companies turning to digitalization to increase operational efficiency. In 2025, our goal is to maintain our growth trajectory and strengthen the team to meet rising demand,” said Ciprian Condur, Managing Partner at System Innovation Romania.
Client distribution remained geographically balanced, but 2024 marked a significant milestone — the implementation of a large-scale project in the Moldova region, where the company previously had limited presence. The 2024 portfolio also featured an increasing number of companies with complex production, B2B distribution, and advanced digital integration requirements. Some of the most ambitious projects involved groups of companies with complementary activities, requiring advanced consolidation solutions.
To meet these needs, System Innovation Romania developed proprietary extensions for EDI, Intercompany, and WMS in 2024, as part of a product development program launched in 2023.
Looking ahead to 2025, System Innovation Romania plans to deliver several already contracted large-scale projects while maintaining its growth rate and high-quality standards. The main challenge will be managing multiple large projects simultaneously, in an economic climate complicated by tax reforms and increased fiscal pressures on both companies and employees. To meet this challenge, the company aims to expand its team by 20% and build a strong middle management structure to support new hires and enable scalable operations.
