Following Alex Baloi’s decision to step down for personal reasons, M247 today announces the appointment of Pete Wakelam as Chief Executive Officer of M247 Global.
Pete has held senior leadership roles within the M247 Group for several years, most recently as Managing Director of M247 UK and previously as Chief Operations Officer. During this time, he has played a central role in strengthening commercial performance, improving customer experience and building high-performing teams.
As CEO, Pete will lead the next phase of M247 Global’s growth strategy, including continued investment and expansion across its Global Network, Hosting and Cloud platforms, alongside the development of a new data centre. Strengthening the Group’s infrastructure, resilience and service capability for customers will be a key focus.
