On June 4, the first ENJOY AI competition organized in Romania will take place at Pullman Bucharest Hotel – World Trade Center, an educational event dedicated to children passionate about technology, robotics, and innovation. The competition is organized by Atelierele Tamarei and brings experiential learning into the spotlight through an interactive and dynamic environment.

ENJOY AI is part of a global community present in over 60 countries, offering children the opportunity to develop essential future-ready skills — from logical thinking and creativity to collaboration and real-world problem solving — within an international context.
The event in Bucharest will bring together children of all ages, including students from Atelierele Tamarei, as well as beginners starting as early as kindergarten level. The competition features challenges adapted to each age group, designed to transform learning into a practical and engaging experience.
The competition events include:
• Skyline Adventures – for middle and high school students: Students program drones to complete aerial routes and technical missions, developing logical thinking and spatial awareness.
• Drone Cup – for primary school students: An accessible and interactive challenge where children learn to control drones while developing coordination and self-confidence.
• Inventions Trail – robotics for middle and high school students: Participants build and program robots to solve challenges along a themed course, encouraging innovation and teamwork.
• Ancient Civilizations – for children up to 8 years old (including kindergarten): An interactive activity where young children discover ancient civilizations through play and simple construction using age-appropriate robots.
The competition encourages children to think creatively, experiment, and collaborate, offering them a safe and stimulating environment in which to discover their passions.
Romania’s Outstanding International Achievements
The organization of the ENJOY AI competition in Romania comes as a result of the excellent performances achieved by Romanian students in international competitions during the previous season.
The journey began in Beijing, where mixed teams including Romanian students received the “Discovery Star” award, recognizing their collaboration and demonstrated potential.
Later, at the Southeast European Championship in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romanian teams achieved remarkable results, winning 1st and 2nd place in the Cyber City challenge and 1st place in the Soccer Drone competition. The season concluded in Shanghai, where the team “The Owner” received the Team Spirit award, while team “MikuBot” earned the Most Creative distinction.
These achievements contributed to Romania obtaining accreditation to officially organize the ENJOY AI competition, marking an important step in the development of technological education at the local level.
The June 4 event represents not only a competition, but also a launch platform for future generations of innovators, giving children the chance to take their first steps into a global educational ecosystem.
