Donatie Craciun“At Christmas, the gifts are, perhaps, more awaited than ever, and the gesture of giving is more natural than ever. For us, at Vodafone, technology and communications are essential, so we want together with our customers to bring the magic of Christmas among children in foster homes by giving them access to the entire universe that opens from a tablet or a laptop screen. This way, we give them the joy of learning, playing, communicating and improving their digital skills. At Vodafone, we believe in equal opportunities for a digital future for all, and it is part of our mission to facilitate access to technology for those who need it most. We thank all the customers who contribute through the Vodafone services they use to create the magic of Christmas for institutionalized children”, said Nedim Baytorun, Consumer Business Unit Director, Vodafone Romania.

The foster and family-type homes involved in this project serve a number of 1500 children and youngsters aged between 7 and 26 years old. The project was initiated and sponsored by Vodafone and is implemented with the support of the Vodafone Romania Foundation, Hope and Homes for Children Romania Foundation and SOS Satele Copiilor Romania Association.
