Tema Energy, the most famous Romanian data center developer, announces a turnover of over 63 million lei at the end of 2022, up 47% from the previous year.

The company is currently the market leader in data centers in Romania. Since its founding in 2002, Tema Energy has worked with over 600 clients and managed over 100 data center projects in its 20 years of activity.

The data center market is a critical area in the context of accelerating digitalization. According to the “Data Center Power Market Report 2023”, the global data center market will reach $41.12 billion in 2030, with a compound annual growth rate of 7.6%. For Eastern Europe, a compound annual growth rate of 10.64% is estimated by 2028, according to data published by “Market Outlook & Forecast ResearchAndMarkets”.

Last year, the company completed and started major projects such as Cluster Power Craiova, one of the largest and most innovative Data Centres in Central and South-Eastern Europe, and HUB Services Ministry of Interior. Cluster Power Campus is the first local project to obtain Tier III TCCF (Tier Certification of Constructed Facility) certification for construction and execution according to Uptime Institute standards and Tier III TCDD certification for design according to Uptime Institute criteria.

The data centers developed by the Tema Energy team for the public sector contribute significantly to Romania’s digitalization project, an approach that aims to improve the experience Romanian citizens have in dealing with state institutions.

Tema Energy hosts the fifth edition of the DataCenter Forum on 16 May, the only event in Romania that brings together the most important players in the data center market. The event is a tradition for the industry and is organized in collaboration with some of the largest global manufacturers, including APC by Schneider Electric, Vertiv, Rittal, Reichle & de Massari, Aksa, Bachmann, Securiton and Uptime Institute.

DataCenter Forum is a highly valuable discussion platform for leading industry professionals, from investors and data center owners to specialists, designers, and consultants.
